Lingua: italiano
Durata: 9 minuti circa
IN THE TUBE
a short movie
A short movie of science ficton, with constant and disquieting psychoanalytic references at the depression. Filmed super low cost without actors, except Eleonora and Gabriele, moreover unpaid), In the tube tells, in a poetic and crazy way, the story of the escape and of the survival in a tunnel during an ipotetic after-bomb future. Result: men inside against men outside. The tunnel is a being that attracts and captivates from wich, once inside, you cannot escape.
Language: italian
Runtime: approximately 9 minutes
UN SOGGETTO CINEMATOGRAFICO
DOSVIDANIA TOVARICH!

Here, under a torrential rain, he stops the van and tries to consult a map of the city to understand where he is and where is the theater where he have to perform the show. The two begin to drink, the relationship is better. There are two men in crisis, Francis for his relationship with Anna, the Russian sailor for the end of communism and the inability to adapt himself to a world that he does not understand. Completely drunk, overwhelmed by the situation, by the rain and by the exuberance of the Russian, Francis decides to end forever his work with puppets and to return home to Anna, dropping the show. The two start off with the van and turn around all night long, ending at sunrise on a beach. The rain is over, the two dismount from the truck looking the sea that goes subsiding. The Russian asks what there is in the van, Francis shows him his puppets’s hut and its wonderful puppets. The Russian's face lights up and takes the innocent gaze of a surprised child, he wants to see the show. Francesco at first does not want, but then surrends. Ok, the last show, he will give life to his puppets for the last time, for a single viewer, the Russian sailor. Francis mount the puppet’s hut on the beach, the show begins, the Russian is sitting on an upturned boat. Francis is taken from his show, totally absorbed, plays as he never did in his life, as if in front of a huge audience. When the show ends, he bows to receive the applause, but the Russian is gone. He is on the boat, in the middle of the sea, is paddling out to sea. Francis calls him, the Russian stops for a moment to row, turns around, looks at him, clapping and shouting "Bravo, bravo. Dosvidania, tovarich." A smile lights up the face of Francis, while copious tears flow down on his cheeks.
